Travel memories

Every place you go to you take something with you.
I always remember my trip to Italy as a child where I saw all these little glas figurines. Immediately I fell in love with them and bought whatever I could afford.
They where tiny little animals - mostly mom and dad with three babies - made out of colorful glas. I progressed from there on to bigger species made out of porcelain - and to this day I love all the little details and expressions that make each one so individual.
Here is one early love of mine - the baseball player waiting for his turn - says it all.
